It has been such an interesting month, with the official launch of hi!stocks at the heart of it all. 🎉

comdirect has a long history of offering innovative online banking and brokerage services to their customers, and in collaboration, we built and launched hi!stocks. It's a next-gen investment network available as mobile applications for iOS and Android. With delight, we can see the launch of hi!stocks outperforming all the set goals so far, and we can conclude that we have helped contribute to the long and innovative ~~history~~ future of comdirect.

We have seen continued volatility in the stock and crypto market, with tech companies like Snapchat suffering significant drops in valuation and the (frankly) crazy collapse of the Terra ecosystem. It has been a challenging environment to navigate for many, especially on the heels of one of the most intense bull runs in history.

As a result, it has quickly become ever-important to pick and choose investments with great care and confidence, and we are happy to provide a service to customers that helps with that.

Meet John-Edward, our new CCO! 👋

Meet our new Chief Commercial Officer, John-Edward Olingsberg!

John-Edward, or "Johnjohn" as he's more commonly called, has always enjoyed the intersection of finance and tech, dating back to his days at NASDAQ and infrastructure investor Infranode. In his former position at McKinsey, he helped payment solution providers, online brokers, data aggregators, and legacy banks scale, grow, and strategize for the future. In his new role at CCO, he will help StockRepublic do the same, and contribute to the inevitable mass adoption of Open Finance.
